calendar with pigs of our cavies

Dear cavy friends,

together with my boyfriend I'd like to let print a calendar (365 days/pages
to turn) with gorgeous cavy fotos and famous quotes and insights.
Because I don't want to use fotos of my 4 boars only, I'd like to ask if
some of you feel like sending me great fotos of your cavies. Everyone, whose
fotos are printed, would get the calendar cheaper of course. :)

Because of the print I would need the fotos in very good quality (sharp,
high resolution regarding pixels, etc.). There could also be more than one
cavy on the foto. I'm very pleased if you'd like give me support with this
project, so please just send me fotos to [email protected]. Thanks a
lot.
 
My goodness, this sounds like a very ambitious undertaking. Sadly, I don't have any piggies now so wouldn't be able to contribute any photographs, but would certainly like to buy such a calendar when it is finished. Would you put the piggie & owner's name on each photograph, so we would know who they all are?
 
well i have 11 guinea pigs you can use my piggies pictures i would love that

there is some pictures of them in the photo section which i took a few weeks ago i took them with my phone (i sont have a camra just one on my phone) there are some gorup ones and some of them on thier own

you can use any of those pictures or if you wont some diffrent ones thats not a problem at all

so is this going to be 2010 calendar then and have you thought about how much you going to charge for them?
 
Thanks a lot for your support.

Due to the size of the calendar and the quotes on it, there is space left for the name of the cavies. We wouldn't publish the name of the owner in this calendar.

I don't exactly the price of the calendar exactly because we haven't calculated all costs currently. When I know the costs for editing, layouting, printing, etc. I can tell a price. ;)

The calendar is with pages to turn and is useable for every year like the picture attached.

i only have a few pics atm as my camera's broken but i'll send them to you now!
if my pigs get featured in it i'd love to buy a copy =D
 
Oh, an "everlasting" calender where you fill in birthdays, anniversaries, etc? Is that what you mean? That's a great idea .... means you don't have to keep transferring from one year's diary to the next, every time 1st January comes.

Looking forward to hearing more details (e.g. price) ... and you'll be posting from Germany, I presume?
 
that so cute i will try and send you pictures of my girls and see what happens lol but that sounds like a money maker xashx

Yes it's an everlasting calendar. On the right side is the photo and on the left side a quote or wisdom. Every day you have a look on the calendar you can see a new wonderfull cavy, I think that's awesome. :))

Togehter with pictures from Caviefriends from Germany we have 150 pictures at the moment. :-)

As you can see, there is enough margin that you can sent me your nice pictures. ;)

If the resulotion is to small for printing, do you have the pictures in original size with high resulotion?
 
Oh, thanks! I think the "large size" downloads are pretty high resolution on Flickr, but if not, just let me know by a message here or on Flickr which one's you want and I'll send them to you. Glad to help (and Celyn and Gethin will be so pleased!)
 
Hi,

sorry for the delay of my answer, I was very busy last time ;)

We have a lot of pictures now but I don't no exactly if they are enough because my designer hasn't sent me all pictures back. So if you have new and very good pictores from your pigs, you can sent me them, too.

I insert all quotes at several pages at the moment and as soon as I have all pictures from designer back, I'll finish the pages. But I think that the calendar will be finished end of June or July. So please be patient ;)

I'd love to have my pigs involved. I'll sort out a couple of good photos and email then to you. And also I'd love to buy a calendar when it's completed. Thanks.
