Sows should never be kept singly because they like to bond together in groups,or at least with one other friend.quote]
have tried zoe with jessie who wobbles rump, mounts and won't let zoe eat etc and now zoe is scared of other piggies as we have taken her to a petshop as we have NO rescues here and zoe was absolutely terrified of the other piggies, we sat there for over an hour and zoe was so scared. yet when on her own the silly duffer tries to popcorn and is really happy. jessie too is elarning to live on her own. they are both indoors and are in the same room as i am in now.
before jessie the late choloe would do the same as jessie does to zoe, and as zoe is 4 next week thinking it is less stressful if she is on her own. i can also monitor how much she is eating and drinking if she is on her own too.
so i think it depends on the piggies personality not the sex of the piggies.
fights are more common in boy piggies but girls can have their cat fights too. so good luck with your new piggy, hoping they bond well. and expect to
see pictures too.xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>
