hi evey1 hope youve all took the time to look @ my pics only put them up yesterday. Anyway i noticed a few weeks ago whilst grooming fudge that he had a pink fleshy type growth just below to the left of his grease spot kind of like mole it doesnt seem to bother him but I'm just wondering if i should get it checked could it be dangerous? i mean i freind of mine had a guinea pig that got cancer so am a little worried. Any advice?:{

Hi, it might not be cancer, I don't think cancer is very common in guineas although I could be wrong.
Sounds like it could either be a fatty cyst or an abcess. You should take him to the vet to get this checked out really. If its an abcess he might need anti biotics.

i would get him to the vets for a check up. Guinea pigs do get lumps, if you can roll it between your fingers its usually nothing to worry bout but if hard to move, i would definiately get him to a vets.

Yes get him to the vets we found that our dog had a growth on her behind and it turned out to be an abcess of course in guinea pigs they can be much worse as they are only small.
Or like starla said could be fatty cist just get it checked on just incase.
Abcess's are not nice and my dog still has a red patch on her bum were they had to remove it it.
