Hi Zoe, these adverts may reach more people if you post in the advert section at the top of the rehoming section? x

ok will do that too, thank you:) sorry, still new to the site, I'm a bit rubbish! :s

i know, i really should stop looking at rehoming sections on forums.. I'm a member of about 6 of them and i always seem to come across little piggies in need, and I'm usually always too far away to help:(

I've already moved the threads luckily:) hopefully they will be viewed there by more people:) thanks!

That person advertising does not deserve animals if that is the way he talks about them. grrrr

I have a good mind to register and give him some abuse! :)>>>

i could help if there is anyway someone could get him to me in stoke on trent its about 50miles away from liverpool ,,i own my own guinea rescue...:)

i have sent a pm on the reptileforum to the member in question, i have passed on claireloves information, so I'm hoping she gets in contact with her, i havent had a reply as yet but i will update you all as soon as i do, i'm keeping my fingers crossed for this little piggie, thank you all so much for your messages :)

I could help with transport if need be, or at least part of the way.

PM me if needed

had a reply from the member jungleexotics this morning with regards her taking them to claireloves rescue saying : 'thanks for your help. wish i could but its too far away as i dont drive. i feel terrible but will have to consider giving them to my local pet shop as nobody is really interested'

she needs the male (and the babies it looks like as well) to be collected from where she is and transported to claireloves rescue i have emailed back saying to hold off on the pet shop and that i would ask on this forum if anyone is able to collect and transport them.. i also asked her in what part of liverpool she is and her contact number, hopefully i will get a reply soon!

i have emailed MrsM and dalek sarah who kindly offered their help, I'm keeping my fingers crossed someone can help them

it would be such a shame if she gave them to her local pet shop as who knows where they might end up! they might end up sexing them wrongly again and the whole thing will happen to another family :s

thank you to everyone who is trying to help!
i will keep you all updated :)

update :
i received a reply when mentioning someone could possibly collect him:
'THAT WOULD BE GREAT. I'm SO WORRIED AS HE IS IN WITH THE FEMALE. I'm IN HUYTON LIVER POOL L369UB'

looks like this pig needs to be taken asap as i think the female he is in with has already given birth, he may impregnant the female again and possibly the babies if left there long enough?

is anyone near this area that could collect the male and possibly the babies and take them to claireloves rescue?

p.s i have the ladies number if anyone thinks they can help

sorry if I'm not very organised about this, i feel like ive been messaging people left right and centre, I'm still very new to this so apologises if its getting confusing! thank you to everyone whose replied to this thread:)

fingers crossed MrsM may be able to contact the lady on monday and collect them, i will owe this wonderful lady BIG if she is able to! thank you clairelove for saying you will take them, i think she is in contact with nutmeg so I'm not sure whether if she can take them, whether she will take them to nutmegs rescue or yours but I'm sure she will get in contact with you as I'm not sure where everyone lives in relation to eachother. If this can be pulled off it will be a miracle :)
Hopefully MrsM will update us all if she is able to get in contact with the lady:)

contacted lady this morning, babies only 2 wks old so will be keeping Dad instead and giving mum and babies away. Will be collecting Monday morning and meeting with Clairelove for them to go to rescue...

cant wait so looking forward to getting them there cage is all ready and waitting with a beautiful warm cosy cup bed waitting for them see you 2moz MrsM xx:)x)

UPDATE

I eventually got to the lady's this morning, after getting lost several times in Liverpool...mallethead She then surrendered 2 boxes (wine boxes, may I add), one with 'Dad' and one with Mum and babies (2).

I drove a couple hundred yards and opened the boxes, 'Dad' is a smooth tri-colour (agouti, tan and white), Mum is smooth self caramel and babies are rex dark brown with a hint of caramel... I guess those pigs will end up on the Jeremy Kyle show cos I doubt Dad is the father...rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes
I gave them some food, incl hay (mum and bubs were on straw) and set out to meet Claire (love).

I'm sure we'll get an update when Claire gets home. And some pics too.

oh my goodness, well thank god you were able to save them, you truely are a godsend!

well done Audrey I'm glad the hand over went well and you got all the piggies, i just know claire is going to give them lots of love
Liverpool is a pain for getting lost in and theres traffic lights everywhere!

just re-read the lady's add and there were originally 3 babies, no idea what happened to tri- coloured baby... :(

Oh Good. Pleased you got the ones that you did and really looking forward to hearing about them from Claire.

Updates and photos when you can!

Well done to all involved.
