Hi , l have a pair of torty sows , that rely on each other , more so than an average bonded pair, . The problem is that when one of them eventually dies , I am concered the remaining sow will not cope well alone , so l need to find a suterble sow to ad to the twosome now .
I have tried them with other sows that l have and although they were not bullied , they were very subdued and wery, and unhappy
Both are very fragile , one has the standard type torty head tilt but she is a dizzy girl that bobs her head , the other was born torty but also has a twisted spine wich carses her to have a gammy back leg ,

Though both are very active and happy soals ,.and have no teratory issues with other pigs .
What they need is a mild natured torty or blind sow that is not going to dominate them !
I thought of adopting a baby sow, but there's no telling what she might grow up to be like ?

Can any one help ?

P'S, l have been trying to post a vidio of the two , but l am not having much luck

Would it be worth putting your name down with any rescues around that may get another disabled piggy? I wonder if a pig with similar issues would bond better with them.

I wouldn't worry too much about the breed, its the personality that counts. Introducing a 3rd sow might upset the bond your two have. You could consider adopting a gentle /older neutered boar?
