Please see my last thread(Guinea pig seeks forever home),and if anyone can help please message me.I have taken this little man in today,he is absolutely adoreable!So loving,calm and realy needs a forever home.Unsure of age,taken him from a friend who unfortunately could no longer care for him,and I offered to take him and find a home for him myself as he wasn't getting any attention etc.I have pics.I am unsure on his breed.He has a teddybear face,is grey in colour with fairly long hair.I am in Northampton.
 
Lots of looks and no replies :( please if anyone knows someone who can offer this little man a home please contact me.He is so sweet and I realy wish I could keep him myself but I don't have the space.

Thank you.Really wish I could keep him myself he is just so adorable.I was unsure on his bread but after looking online I think he may be a Texel x

I will speak to my friend at work on Tuesday as she was looking for another piggie for her lone boar.

Was he living on his own?

Hi.I have named him Alfie,and Alfie has allways been on his own yes.I wouldnt want him to be paired unless it was done properly and he was bonded properly or it may not work out.
 
I understand that and I wouldn't put either pig in a difficult situation
....I'm having my own bonding issues with my two at the moment, so I'm painfully aware of boys and their issues.

Yes.I bonded my 1.5 year old Boar with a baby a couple of months ago and it worked brilliantly and they are now living together best of friends.But Alfie has been passed around a fair bit and I would like to see him go to someone who can give him a forever home.There is a lady who has a rescue who has offered to take Alie,I am very please..just in the process of sorting that out now.so wish I could keep him but I have to do what is right for him.I can't believe he is sat in a cage just 2 foot from my own 2 boars(Alfie is in my kitchen and my own pigys are in the conservatory in front of him)and none of them have noticed that Alfie is there!lol..there has been no sounds at all!

Thank you.I am going to be very sad to see him go 8... he is just so laid back and loving.I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't get attached though as I knew I was only taking him temporary til I found him a home.He is currently sat on my lap,snuggled into me,so cute.I have tried to add a pic here but I have no idea how to do it as it asks me to enter the link but mine are Jpeg files.
 
ooooh i'm a puter dino at times.......um i use photobucket and use the IMG link...... i'd say the jpeg is on your computer? then you'd have to use the browse and upload from there........eeek don't quote me tho! sorry.....

Oh of course you've got attached.... that is why you'll find a lovely forever home for him...i bet they'll end up knowing heaps about him from you and all his fav treats etc... :)

i would take him but i am in wolverhampton and have no way of getting to you. he could have lived in my daughters bedroom with her. if you could get him here that would be great.

Thank you for you offer but I have a lady who has kindly offered to come and collect little man from me and take him back to her Rescue at Little-Thornes x

He is gorgeous isn't he :) I have no idea what breed he is though?From looking online I think he is a Texel?he has a cute teddybear face :) and long hair with curls :)

I've had a little single boar for a while who's just been waiting for a friend.... Hopefully after his quarantine when they meet they get on like a house on fire... :)
Failing that he will be neutered ready for some wifeys... :))

awww I realy hope he bonds with your Boar,that thought makes me very very happy :) see you soon and I can't thank you enough for all your help x
