How do you know what they can and can't eat whole on the grass... I have meadow grass lawn and lots of odd weeds growing.. the only thing I know ok is the dandelions. ... they end up only on certain bits which are now quite bare while other bits are green but have weeds too. Know they can't eat moss but do they just ignore that? I want to treat my lawn but that would take ages and stop them going on it full stop .
we have quite a mossy lawn but -like you- dont really want to treat until we have assembled their run as that would stop them going on it altogether. I find that they are pretty good at knowing what to eat and what not to eat (chewing is a different matter as mine will chew ANYTHING lol) for example, they love picking out the dandelions and plantain but stay well clear of anything else.
