I think it may be dirt I'm not sure what’s the best way to clean it off? Thanks

That looks like a mouth sore. I can't remember the name of it, I think it's called chititis or something but he will need to see a vet for treatment. It can be caused by eating too much acidic fruit such as apples or tomatoes.

Please don't try to pull the scab off

Ok I won’t its just weird as it looked like mud, or a squashed pellet but it feels very dry, I will ring the vets tomorrow :)

Thanks guys, he hasn’t long been off antibiotics, seems like one thing after the other for the poor guy :(

Hi guys I thought I’d give you an update, we’ve just left the vets, he said it could be due to the warm weather and also the fact he has just finished a course of anti biotoics, he gave us a sterile solution to use to try and scrape off the blisters, he said that if it bleeds it’s ok, and then he’s given me isathal eye drops to use once the solution has dried? He said to do this twice a day. Not sure how I feel about using the solution to scrape away the fungal, it looks very painful. I’ve just tried to do it and he cried, so I’ve done it as best as I could and then applied the eye drops, with where it’s positoned on his lips some will have entered his mouth , does this sound right to you guys?

Just seems strange they would give me eye drops for it? .. I thought he would be better if with maybe a fungal cream

Hope the treatment works for your boy.
It’s hard when we have to deal with these kinds of things for our gorgeous furries.

I’m glad that you have taken him to the vets. Poor boy :( I have no idea about the eye drops but I guess all we can do is trust our vet.

I once had to clean out an eye socket our removing the scab in the process. It was just awful hearing Eliza cry as I did it :(

Healing vibes for a speedy recovery xx

It’s hard because he’s so wriggly and he tries and jumps away, holding his head down is a task, with my partner working away no one to really help me :( anyone any tips for keeping him still?

I used to wrap Eliza tightly in a towel so just her head was poking out. She still wriggled but her movement was restricted
