This might be a silly question...but I'm going to ask it anyway! If I wash the boys and girls beds, Snugglesafe covers, etc. together in the same load will the boys things still have a residual scent of the girls even after washing, which might drive them batty?

Also, would it be OK to put some of my dog's things in a piggie load (we have a designated 'pet washer' - not for the actual pets, you understand! :D) or would that leave a residual smell of a predator which would upset the piggies? I would think this would be OK as I must smell of dog to the piggies, but what do you guys think?

I wonder if I've put this in the right area - I'm not sure really. Does anyone have an opinion? Its 'big piggie clean-out' tomorrow, so would really appreciate your thoughts.

I've moved it to GP chat, you're more like to get replies here. ;)

I personally don't see a problem
but I only have two boys.
but I do have a cat and I have washed her stiff wih the pigs...not a problem :)

I wash boar and sows beds with my dog's bed and sometimes horse stuff....all together in a big duvet on a 60 degree "pet wash". I have not noticed any problems and the only thing it all smells of is Fairy non bio!

That's great, thank you. I was probably being an over-cautious piggie-mum, but I'd rather be like that than do something that would upset them!
