My piggies have been on Burgess Excel's mint nuggets for a while, it says it's for all ages. These are the ingredients:

Grass, Wheat, Soya Bean Hulls, Oat Feed, Hi Pro Soya, Lucerne, Yeast, Sugar Beet Pulp, Mint (1.25%), Soya Oil, Dicalcium Phosphate, Salt, Ligno-Cellulose, Short Chain Fructooligosaccharides 0.25%, Minerals.

However I recently ordered more nuggets from Amazon, it has new packaging and apparently the "same recipe", but it says it's for adults? The only difference in the ingredients is the adult one has MonoCalcium Phosphate. Other than that, the ingredients are identical. The nuggets themselves look very slightly different, a tiny bit darker.

One of my pairs of piggies are 4 months old, so can I still feed this to them even though it says it's for adults?

Guinea pigs are generally considered to be adult at 4 months old, so your two 4 months old piggies should be all right with Adult pellets. The new Burgess Excel packaging has a little girl with two piggies on grass on the front. If that's the one that you've been feeding, I would stick with that. Pellets from Amazon are likely to be an older version and best avoided.
When it comes to piggie diet; less calcium and more Vitamin C is the rule.

Thanks! Hmm that's strange, I thought they were considered adults at 6 months.

The reason why I ordered from Amazon is because I was feeling too tired to go to the pet shop and my piggles were starting to running out of nuggets, but thankfully the bag I got has the new packaging exactly as you described, and the best before date is the 15th of December 2015 so I'm pretty sure it isn't old. :)

When I went to the pet shop today to get more hay (I know pet shop hay isn't the best, but hay online is just too pricy for me, and I'm always careful to choose greener-looking bags), they had the exact same nuggets as the ones I ordered from Amazon, and I couldn't see any which said they were for young guinea pigs which is odd. You'd think they would cater to both adults and young piggies. Unless the young piggy nuggets were buried behind the adult ones and I didn't see them?

great to know as I have some of peanuts burgess excel mint nuggets as I've sadly lost him and didn't know if I could use it too the old bags were suitable for all ages seems pets at home only get the adult.one now

It used to be suitable for all ages now it says adult at pah do your guinea pig(s) like the marigold and dandelion Burgess excel herbage that is good for them too

Once I forgot to buy hay and all the pet shops were closed, so I had to go to the vet and buy hay there. I bought the Burgess Excel Herbage with marigold and dandelion, and although the initial idea is nice and the hay itself wasn't bad quality, the strands of hay were literally 5 cm long at most. The bag only lasted about two days because of how short the strands of hay were.
