I have a bird toy that was never touched by my bird but my guinea pig is really interested in it. it's the planet pleasures pineapple foraging toy. I saw people saying they used it for their rats but was wondering if it's safe for chewing.

Welcome to the forum, does your guinea pig have a companion? Boy or girl, how old?
What is the toy made from?

Hello and welcome to the forum. I’m thinking if it’s made for a bird then it would not be suitable for a guinea pig. Can you attach a photo of it?

Is it this one?
Apparently it's made out of palm leaves- I don't know whether this is safe.
Good idea to check on the forum first :)

It looks rather spiky and stiff, might be a eye hazard as piggies have very prominent eyes that are easily caught on things, including hay. I have avoided getting a hay rack for this reason. I would get the piggy in question some toys especially for guinea pigs.

Thank you he does not I adopted him and he was alone I tried to introduce him to other piggies in the house but he didn't like them very much he's 3 years old and it's made of palm leaves someone else posted a picture of it. He doesn't like the other pigs but he really likes the cat and bird they don't meet face to face tho but he loves seeing them for some reason always supervised though as I am home 24/7.

Yes it's that one I figured it would be too pointy for him just he runs up to the cage and squeaks at me when he sees it so I guessed that he was interested in it. That or he's sad because he misses his bird friend she just passed away and he keeps going up to her cage and squeaking. I never showed him her body so I think maybe he doesn't realize she's passed
