I'm probably just being an overprotective piggy mum, but I thought I should ask, just in case. So today I was cleaning the boys' cage, and I found this one poop which was a lot longer than all the others. It was probably around 3 to 3.5cm. It looks normal and healthy, just very big... Does that mean anything or am I just being paranoid?

What is the consistency like? And how much larger than ‘normal’ is it?

Hi!

Boars with fully descended testicles can make longer poos because of their large anal sac.
As long as the poos are firm and of a normal consistency, you need not worry.

I’ve seen some huge poops from older intact boars. However if the poop is smelly or the texture is off, then this is not normal.

Thank you everyone! It was of normal consistency and maybe about 1.5 to twice the size of their usual poos
