I have had a sore throat, headache and sneezes recently, and Lo Lo started sneezing when I picked him up.
It may sound like nothing, but Darwins first symptoms were if him sneezing.
He's still lively luckily and he's currently licking my face.
I was just panicking a bit.
Please could you put my mind at rest (if he's OK)
thank you

Why has no one replied?
It nay sound silly but please!
He's lost hair behind his ear too!

Am sure others will be on here soon - when they have lost hair it could be fungal or mites - I would check out the guinealynx website under illnesses until someone more experienced comes on.

Thanks, will do!

Guinea pigs cannot catch the human cold and secondly all guinea pigs have a bald spot behind their ears, as to how noticeable this is can depend on fur type. I hope this helps but if your pig doesn't stop sneezing, has runny eyes or nose then please take them to a vet as this can be a sign of a respiratory infection which can be fatal if left untreated :)

In relieved, I'm glad he's ok because he's only a baby.
