I bought some Burgess Excel Long Stem Feeding Hay as it was the greenest looking Hay I could find in the pet shop, but I’ve just seen that it says ‘For rabbits’ and no mention of whether it is suitable for guinea pigs.

Do you think it’s ok?

Yes it's fine mine eat it. I have seen somewhere, I think it was on here that rabbit food is cheaper as it doesn't get the same VAT tax rating as guinea pig? I don't know if that's true but I have noticed rabbit pellets are cheaper than guinea pig!

Thank you!

Absolutely. Mine have a handful every evening and absolutely go mad for it.

I’ve never known a piggy not like it! :lol!:
They love it, especially the seed heads :luv:

Well, the pigs certainly seemed to enjoy it when I put it in! Perhaps I’ll buy it more often. I desperately needed hay but most of it looked pretty brown or yellow, presumably due to the adverse weather conditions!
