My sister has a rabbit which is housed away from the piggies and is fed on pellet food. My piggies have fresh fruit and veg each day along with a constant supply of hay and water and i was wondering whether it is possible to feed them the rabbit pelleted mix?

Guinea food is specially formulated to contain all the vitamins and minerals they need to be healthy. Rabbit food doesn't contain the same goodness. That said, my piggies are always in the rabbit hutch polishing off their food!

Guinea pig food has added vitamin c as guinea pigs do not produce their own. It is also specifically formulated for piggies. To ensure that they have adequate nutrition it is best to feed good quality guinea pig nuggets.
