can guineapigs eat spinach?

Yes they can.... But not too much. I would only give a small piece /baby leaf per pig once a week.

Hi, the reason spinach is given sparingly is due to the high calcium content (especially in the baby leaves).

My Finn and Lara eat spinach. They also get variety of veggies and herbs.
They get small amount of fruit three to four times a week.

Ours get it about once a week, the baby spinach is better for them than actual adult (whats fully grown spinach called!?) 
spinach leaves. It contains a lot of calcium and oxalic acid which binds the calcium into larger pieces causing urine sludge. The baby leaves have less in, although still higher than a lot of other veg so yeah..once a week at most. Less often if it's the larger leaves

They can, but only in small amounts. And only three to four times a week. It is very high in calcium, but also vitamin C. So if your pig is prone to stones, I would not feed at all. But if they need more vitamin C, spinach would be a good option.
