Can he still eat?

Buttons has to go in for an operation tomorrow to try and stop his eye from getting any worse or having to get it removed. He will only be under anesthetic 5-10 mins but will he have to fast tonight? The vet didn't say if he was to or not :-\
 
Piggies cant vomit... so I dont think he would need to fast... I could be wrong though... give your vet a call and ask :)
 
everytime the boys have been in for nuts off theyve been allowed to eat O0
 
No, feed him as normal. The vet should clear his mouth of any debris to make sure he doesn't choke :)

Can he still eat? Updated

Mum's just picked him up and hes fine eating away. They found a bit of hay in his eye and loads of puss came out. It's stil too early to tell if he's definitely blind in his eye. It is stil really cloudy but he's back on Friday :)
 
Good news so far. If it turns out he is not blind that would be the icing on the cake. Hope his eye clears up real soon. Keep us informed. :)
