As title really. I'm sure last year @Wiebke said she heated up to 2 at a time, if so for how long? I know 1 is 5 mins in a 1000w microwave. I'm just thinking of saving a bit of electricity as the cost is extortionate.

I usually do two for a minute longer than a single but you can do them in two shorter bursts and turn the sides that have touched outside halfway through. I did that when we had all those really bad night frosts last winter to make sure that they were heated through evenly.

Thanks @Wiebke. My new Snugglesafes arrived late last night so I'll be following this advice tonight. The garage, although still around 15 degrees still feels a tad chilly with this East wind.

I used to put 2 in together for 9 minutes in my 700w microwave. I don't know how long it would be in a 1000w micro however. 7 minutes perhaps? You could try starting at 6 minutes and seeing if they get as warm as 1 in for 5 minutes, increasing by 30 seconds each day until they are full heat...

How long you do them depends on strength of your microwave.

Do you heat them one on top of the other, side by side or overlapping? The subtext of this question from someone who worries irrationally about things overheating and exploding in the microwave (me!) is, is it safe for them to touch? I've only ever heated one at a time, it never occurred to me to do two.
