Can I Hurt my guinea by giving them too much love each day?

Online videos are not entirely accurate when it comes to guinea pig ownership. Videos show what people want to see, not what the reality of piggy keeping actually is. The older the piggy, potentially the more they've settled in, th more used to handling they may be. They may also the most handleable of the particular persons piggies, therefore making the best videos for human entertainment.

Yours may never get used to it though. I personally feel you need to follow their lead.
 
Everypig is different. And you may just have to accept that they won’t like being picked up. I think if you did a poll the majority of members would say their don’t like being picked up. The best thing is to get them used to being transported in something - a box, carrier, hide etc. And use that to get them out rather than picking up with your hands. But that can also take time.
