Can I introduce them soon or never?

I currently have 4 male guinea pigs. 2 of them were bought as a pair and are now 10 months old. I then purchased 2 male baby guinea pigs who are only 8 weeks old. They live in separate cages and I was wondering if I’ll ever be able to introduce and have them play together or will that never be possible?

It is incredibly risky to have more than two boars together. Trios or quartets rarely work out. I would not suggest keeping them in the same habitat. You can keep their cages nearby, that way the can see and smell each other, but I would not suggest having them in the same cage. Having so many boars together almost always leads to a lot of fighting.

I agree. Never introduce them as a quartet, it is just asking for trouble I’m afraid! They need to remain in pairs permanently and never meet, not even for a playtime
