Hi! :o

Long story short. I want a spare cage for my boys, for many reasons. It needs to be fairly large.
The one I originally wanted is now out of stock, forever. They say there's no more coming in.
It was a cheap store-brand model anyways.

Now I have my eye on the Rabbit 140! Or 120! I'm unsure.
140 is bigger, and I do like the look of it.

If any of you guys have either of these cages, can you show me some pictures please?
With piggies, too! If possible, so I can get the general idea of the size.
I know how big they are but it's hard to picture my boys in them.

I'd be very grateful if you could do this.
Or any other cages of the same or similar size.

Thank you! :(|)

I haven't got photos, but i had 2 of my girls in the 120 when they weren't fully grown, but they soon grew and it was way to small. but i had my single boar in one and it was ok for him, i use it now for a single pig's hospital cage. i dont think it's any good for more than one. the 140, from the dimensions, sounds good for two. one of my friends had four piggies in one, it didn't seem too small but in fairness the bigger you can get the better. i think the 140 is what i'd use for a pair. i wouldn't personally use smaller for more than one!

now... i can breathe! LOL! xxxxxxxxxxxx

This is the 120 I bought when I adopted Nerys and Nia from the RSPCA.

If you can afford it, go for a bigger cage - it is amazing how much every extra inch adds to the available space!

i have 2 boys in a 120 which i've had for ages they enjoy their home but i would love to get the 140! so go for the 140

It's only going to be used for them during the day.
They'll be in for about 4-5 hours a day. Just so they can come downstairs with me. I hate them being upstairs, it means they don't get as much attention from me as they could.
Plus I think that having a spare cage is always a good idea.

But yes, it needs to be large enough for them to be comfortable. I need one that's going to be large enough, as when I go on Holiday for 2 weeks, they'll need to stay in that cage for the whole 2 weeks.

I can see from that picture, Wiebke, that 120 won't be large enough.
I think I'll be going for the 140 then. Unless I can find one bigger. My mother is going to take me out to look for one in 2 weeks.
But if I can't find anything, I'll be getting the 140.

Thanks for the help guys.
And thanks for the picture. It's easier to tell when you can see the cage with things in it. They always look so big when you see them in the store, all empty and clean.

If I mess up and get one that's too small, my boys will only argue with the lack of space and their downstairs experience won't be enjoyable.
My plan is for them to come downstairs in the day and then go back into their C&C cage in the evening. :)

I think this is either the 140 or 150 that I keep my boys in:

That's a nice size. I think that's the 150, by the looks of the design.

Is that the same?

But my boys could be quite happy in that.

I have a 150 too - it's a great size. Very roomy. I have 3 pigs in there and have an upstairs like Mackers.

*thread hyjack* where do you get the trixie 150 from? is it big enough for four?

My girls are in the 120, but have added a d.i.y. upstairs too (I found it just too small without) If you can, I'd go for the 140. It's delivery only from P@H though..

This is my girls cage when I first added the upstairs... (Been a further few mods since then though :) )
