Can I use fungal shampoo

I was given some fungal shampoo (Malaseb) from my vet a few months back when one of my girls had a bit of fungal. The trouble is, it is in a large bottle and has hardly been used.

Will it be harmful if I use it on the girls even though they do not have fungal or should I just use their regular shampoo?

Personally I wouldn't use it as a regular shampoo only for fungal. It's supposed to be great for fungal but a bit harsh for normal.
