I feed my piggies on a mixture of different veggies each day but some lettuce every day, tends to be the mixed bags from the supermarket and they are all fine.

Where did you see that it cant be fed each day?

They can't eat Iceberg Lettuce because it causes Guinea Pigs to have diarrhoea but all the other kinds are ok but I tend to stick to Romaine and Red Leaf as they like those the best. Lettuce can also be fed every day as it's low in calcium so doesn't really need to be cut down on, I feed my two girls about three or four big leaves of Romaine every day.

That's a great link! It does get confusing, I saw another link on here where someone was working a chart out with what to feed every week but can't find it now. It's making me eat healthier anyway!

Mine have Romaine every day and love it, bought a couple of 'Lazy Leaf' from Asda last night to try and they scoffed it all...67p each.
The mixed bags are good but as others have said, avoid Iceberg.

Mine have a very small amount of lettuce daily - i grow my own so i have a wide variety of different lettuce that i can offer.

My oldest boy is 4 this year and he's not once seen a vet due to illness (only the odd check up) so i'm quite confident in giving lettuce in a reasonable amount daily.

I feed lettuce daily but only in small quantities say one or two leaves of little gem per pig per day for example or a small handful of bagged lettuce between the four if them

They have a variety every day (usually something different) some examples are the following but i usually do a different variety every day:

1.) Cucumber + pepper + green beans + apple
2.) Carrot + fennel + tomato + greens
3.) Celery + brocolli + chicory + pear

(just examples)

x.
