Can Piggies See All Colours?

Hi people.
I'm wanting to set a light up in my c&c cage so that I can see my black piggy "Joshua" in the dark arwas.

The problem is I don't want to dazzle or scare my piggies. So is there a coloured light I can use that won't disturbe them?

I know on some wildlife programs when filming certain animals they use coloured lights

Yes I want to fit a light in the cage. I can wire lights up myself I just need to know what colour I can use if any

I really would not do that as the lights would not make a natural environment for your pig. Guinea pigs prefer the dark anyway. Also the lights would produce heat. I just have the room light on in the dark and otherwise the light off. When I turn the light off my pigs love it and wake up!

I use a dim light in the room, little lamp which makes the room a bit dusk.

It would be leds which don't give off heat. Also the reason I'm asking if there is a colour they can't see is so it doesn't disturb them
