Last week Charlie had bonding attempts with 6 other boars, none of whom he wanted to be with (I think mostly he didn't like if when they mounted him). His last cage mate he never seemed happy with, he was bullied by him somewhat. I don't know what his situation was prior to being at the rescue where we got him from, whether he was always paired or had been single before.
Over the weekend I've had a message that there's a 7wk old boy available and I've been considering trying a bond with a baby. But what if that doesn't work? I'm worried that if they don't bond then I've got a baby that needs the company! Do you think I could try a baby bond?

I'm sorry he's being a difficult little lad. How old is he? Maybe you could consider having him neutered and bonded with a female. As for the baby boy, it definitely may be worth a shot. These bonds cam work out great, although with any bond there is a chance they may fall out when the baby hits the teenage months.
My 4 year old girl Daisy took 3 failed bondings (a neutered male and two females) before finding the perfect match worh 4 year old neutered male Oscar. Sometimes piggies can be difficult to bond, but not impossible. Any bond comes down to their individual personalities and character compatibility.
More experienced members will be along shortly
Best of luck 💕🤞

I would definitely try a baby. It’s not 100% given that they will get on but my two boys are still good friends. Percy was about 7 months when we got Pepper who was only 5 weeks.
