can skinny pig mix with guinea pig?

OMG i didnt realise there is a type of guinea pig call skinny pig. Only when i roam around the internet and happen to saw it. If my piggy lice problem was cure, i am intending to get a few more piggy to accompany it. can skinny pig mix with guinea pig?:^-
 
Skinny pigs can mix, but they have special needs and need a lot of care because of their sensitive skin. They are a big long term commitment and are not just there to boast with and show off.

Sadly, some greedy breeders have got hold of them and are now trying to make big money with rare breeds.
 
thanks for sharing n i agree with *. in my country, got some people sell each skinny pig for 800bucks which is mani mani times the price of a guinea pig..
 
Tracyxx on here has a skinny pig which ended up in a rescue(!). Because quite a few people on here wanted to know more about skinny pigs, she started this thread. It should answer some of your questions.

I agree that it there are some unscrupulous people out there who want to make a fortune on designer pets. Poor piggies in their grasp!
