Can they eat this?

This is the first time i have tried newspaper instead of wood chips. She has been eating the newspaper a little and i wondered if it would hurt her?

My piggies have just recently realised they can eat the newspaper...and the cardboard tube! Uh oh...

So aside from reading the newspaper, piggies can actually eat it and it won't harm them? ( No I am not going to feed it to them !).

I just thought that if I could shred it and use it as bedding, then they won't get pesky lice or mites from the hay.
