Can They Eat Thyme?

I have a prostrate Thyme bush that my Mum gave me can piggies eat Thyme? I don't want to give it to them unless I know its safe!
 
Yes it is safe, I grow thyme so it's one of the herbs my lot get fairly often
 
thyme can be eaten by cavies,it has the most vitamin c after the fruit Guava,some information i was reading yesterday !:)

Thyme is ok in small quantities, but like all mediterranian herbs that are growing on well drained dry soil (macchia), it is also rich in essential oils so it should not be fed too much or in large quantities. Best use it as a treat.

All soft-leaved herbs that grow in moist soil are fine like basil, mint, marjoram or oregano.
