hello i have fresh in my fridge at the monent parsnips and some beetroot i have never given these to my pigs before so i was wondering if they can have them?

My guinea pig likes parsnips not sure about the beetroots though ahaha

beetroot is fine just never beetroot leaves!

They can eat both, but I always find that parsnip gets left or rather eaten more slowly if put in with more tastier veg. You may find that their urine is stained to a reddy colour, which sometimes people think is blood, due to the betanin in the beetroot.

I'm might give my guinea pig some parsnip Her name is Cuddles or you can name her Cuddlez.

They can eat both raw, but I have found that it is not exactly their favourite food.
