Can We Keep It Clean For 5 Minutes?

I always have mixed feelings when I put the piggies back into a freshly cleaned cage that took me a good 30 minutes to clean.... just to watch them tear it apart.

Part of me is like ....

And then another part me is like awwww theyre having fun.


My favorite is tipping over anything that has hay in it.... once that's on the fleece it's over.

I know! Bobby and Bailey's new cage arrived yesterday, and I made new fleeces and made it look lovely for them - two minutes after I put them in it, I was feverishly picking bits of hay off the fleece in an effort to keep it tidy as long as possible. The fact that I saw Bailey doing zoomies and Bobby popcorning for the first time since I got them made it all worthwhile.....I can't wait till their quarantine is over and they get an run on the front of it too.

Hahaha I know the feeling, it’s takes me a good hour or so everyday to clean my enclosure, by the I’ve ive done one hutch and move onto the second, a quick turn and it’s covered in poo again.

And obviously they must drag hay absolutely everywhere because it’s a pain to clean up

i know! Ive tried giving them all lovely corner areas full of hay with newspaper and fleece beneath it of course! But the rest of their areas are still covered with hay and grass and veg and POO!
This is our job though isn't it? lol

Mine is always a mess, we put there hay over a bridge & they always throw it on the floor. They do it if it's a hay rack. I was going to get them a hay bag, but I fear it will be a waste of time.

Hay gets EVERYWHERE! I have outside piggies and hay soon migrates inside! I hoover up in the morning and by the evening it doesn't look like I bothered!

Yep know that feeling. The piggies get so excited over a clean cage, the popcorning is soooo cute, well Patchy popcorns as Coco is to cool for those shenanigans now.
