Can you feed guinea pigs veg daily?
Just want to make sure that you can, I do give my guinea pigs cabbage and coriander everyday with the odd tiny piece of paper and cucumber.
Thank you, this has been helpful, they only have a teaspoon of pellets each, they also have unlimited hay and a bit of veg and unlimited, clean, fresh water. Overall, they are on a good diet and I have also read through the cage.
Also, I apologise for putting it in the wrong section.
Lucky its 5pm, I have a 5am alarm called skinny pig Tallulah! But 5am is not feeding time so we always leave plenty hay and safe things to chew on in her cage. So now we have a 5am "isnt my carrot cottage loud and crunchy" alarm instead that carries on (alternating with water bottle rattles and very loud wheeks) until it is actually time for breakfast veggies! We have a 5pm alarm for our lots veggies, he's called Gonzo. Your pigs will become very accustomed to daily veg. This is one of the times that the label slave comes to mind.
Yes you definitely can feed pigs veg daily. Be careful with the cabbage - it can cause health issues sometimes. I would recommend the YouTube channel Little Adventures. She makes a lot of videos on guinea pig diets. Can you feed guinea pigs veg daily?

As well as the helpful guides that @Wiebke has linked there is an interesting thread called ‘Feeding the Piggies at TEAS’.
Sorry I can’t link it for you.
I feed mine veggies spread through the day.
They get a lettuce leaf each morning with the pellets and hay, a handful of coriander or dill in the middle of the day if one of us is around and the rest late afternoon which is a mix of leaves, cucumber, pepper and other goodies.
Fruit is a birthday treat, so only 4 times a year, carrots and sweet corn about once a month.
