Hello. I posted in a previous thread about antibiotics and my piggie. My question is if I bring him to the vet to go on a course of antibiotics for bumblefoot, can I harvest his poop now before his flora gets compromised as we only have him and whether there is a topical antibiotic I can apply rather than him ingest ? Just curious. Thank you

No, unfortunately not. Healthy live gut microbiome only works with fresh poos that are basically minutes old; after that they lose their efficiency.
