I can't imagine life without guinea pigs, can you?

These are a few things that I would personally miss ... free feel to add some of yours.

The shopping in the greengrocers or supermarket for them and when you get a freebie or bargain, feeling really chuffed!

Buying treats for them even if they won't even touch them rolleyes, i.e. the treats you hang on the cage.

I would miss the peeling of the vegetables for our dinner and putting bits in a bowl ready for them.

Bathing them and ending up wetter than them! :))

The fuss they make when having their toenails cut and me being really embarrassed that my neighbours must think that I am killing them ")!

Most of all, I would miss the squeaking and excitement when they hear me approach. Being summer (well, is it? ?/) I wear flip flops in the garden. The wheeking from my shed can be so loud when they hear the distinctive flip flopping or flopping flip of my shoes when I even just sit one foot off my backstep :(|).

Don't you just love them! x)

I can't imagine a life without animals now. :)

We would love a varity of animals (furry's) :)

I can!

No hay on the floor, no wood chewing sounds when i am watching movies (its Soooo loud!) No cleaning out every other day and no demands for food everytime i walk past...:))

But... No............ I have got used to it now and wouldnt want a house without animals in it again...

I couldn't imagine life with out furries either. I couldn't imagine not seeing their cute little faces peering up at me and their cute little sounds. And then of course, I would even miss their wee when they decide to use me as a toilet because Chris finds it so funny xx

A house with out amimals is a an un-happy house.

If I didn't have my piggies I would miss hearing their 'Wheeks' when they hear me walking up the stairs, and when I wake up in the morning and say hello to them, they all 'Wheek Wheek' back! x

I love seeing my boys run to me when we walk in and I love their trusting cuddles. I love their wheeks and I love watching them endlessly. I think I probably need to get out more, but I just adore my boys and couldn't possibly contemplate a household without them!

I would miss his little squeaks when he knows it's dinner time!

no i definately can't i would never be without a guinea pig :) but then it would be nice to not have hay and wood shaving all over my lounge :(|)

Who would torment my cats?! :) The girls love running up to them to wind them up and then quickly running away again before they get them first (don't worry they are supervised).

I couldnt imagine life without my piggies either. I love cuddling them when I'm feeling a bit down or bored and they always manage to cheer me up. I love their funny little ways, like when they follow each other round and make funny squeaky noises in the morning when they want their brekkie. :) Aww and who couldnt resist their innocent looking faces when they look up at you :)

to be honest i would really miss my boys....
i can no longer imagine life without them.

the love they give and the hugs
brushing them
giving them a bath and ending up wet.

My piggy's do as much for me, maybe even more than I can do for them

They give you the most genuine and loving friendship you will ever find.

I couldn't imagine it.

I know it sounds strange but I really would miss changing their fleece every day. It's just part of my waking up routine and I would be at a loss without it mallethead

at this moment in time i can ery much imagine life with out the little furballs:x

Life without guineas NO WAY

Hi there.

My Hubby and I could not imagine our ives without our beloved boys or "popsies " as we call them.

I just love to care for them.

Make sure they are warm. Fed, cuddled, have a run round the house. Life would be so dull with out our boys.

When Hubby arrives home he goes to see the boys to make sure they are well.

I also do the same as soon as I arrive home from work I go and see popsies.

AND............ at bed time we go in and say night night to them.

When a popsied is ill we also get up in the middle of the night to ensure all is well and give meds if needed or clean piggy out again if they are poorly.

I have been known to clean out a popsie more then twice in a day if they have had an op or very poorly.

As someone said earlier a house without pets would be an unhappy house. I love all my babes, they keep me busy but the are worth every sweeping, every mopping, every wet [air of trousers from hosing out their houses! :))

When we got back from our hols last year we spent a night in the house without them and it was horrid. Really missed them soo much. :)

I couldn't imagin a life without animals. It would just be plain wrong to me. When I was younger my parents only ever let me have one hamster, they let my sister have a hamster and a rabbit. And that's it. But I think it's so important for kids to have the responsibility of animals (with parent's looking on and helping too!) and it's so important to have animals around. Though I've only had guinea pigs since the 29th of March, I really couldn't imagin life with out them. They give so much just by being themselves. I love to come home to them and their wheeks as though they're saying "hello mommy! welcome home!", so adorable. I find it theraputic cleaning them out and washing them is sooo fun. I love each and every one of my piggies and I know they love me back every bit as much. They know they can wrap mommy around their little claws too!

Yes.

I know this for a fact because I have happily lived with rabbits instead of guinea pigs before. However, i do not think I could live completely without any animals (whatever kind - be it a chicken, dog, horse, or gerbil!).

I need animals in my life - but I am not fixed on a particular species. Yes, I really like my piggies; but I could just as happily live with a Maine Coon instead.

I'm like that Claire I love cleaning them out. Dad thinks I'm mad!...lol But they are all different and I love all of them individually. I will always have a couple of buns, a few guineas and small furrys. I was never allowed as a child.

Besides if I wouldn't have joined here I wouldn't have met so many wonderful people and made so many friends along the way. x

The thought of having lots of animals is expensive but so fun and keeps you on your toes.
I got another guinea pig today aswell as already having one. I've owned guinea pigs since i was 7 so life without them now would be impossible! but my dad is not keen on me having anymore animals! :))

just think of it as a hobby! people spend a fortune on going out binge drinking or their cars...our hobby is keeping guineapigs/animals safe, healthy, happy and loved

I was also bought up surrounded by animals, not much has changed! i have 12 guinea pigs, 6 rabbits, i foster rabbits for the rspca so at max i have total of 10 rabbits. also 1 cat and 3 kids, sorry thats 2 kids and a husband! they all get cleaned everyday and want for nothing. i love every second of it

The staying up whilst the girls where giving birth
the squeeking when i go in the garden
the two juvenile thugs rampaging around their cage in the lounge diiner behind me!
the cuddles i get from Herecles
the Look of love or pity from Caterpiller
my chats with Goose
the dogs eating the poop!
chatting to some very nice people (and not so nice) who want to adopt
Not wasteing half my days chatting on here!:))
I love my guineas! even for the week i was away!

i would miss them pulling the bag of treats into the cage and ripping it to shreads then them acting all innocent when i tell them off....:))
