Ok so we've had the boys just over a week now and a day or two after getting here i noticed that one of them had a sort of weepy eye - it cleared itself up really quick (within another day or two) but the hair under his eye looked like it'd been wet (you know what i mean).

well today i've managed to pick him up for a proper hug and noticed this....

I'll add here that the boys are still super shy and i've not wanted to handle them loads plus freddy (the one with the sore spot) is much more shy than buzz so i've really only seen him either scuttling away or hiding in his house, i just thought his fur was still a little grubby.

anyway, it looks a lot more red on the photo probably a trick of the light - in the flesh it looks dark looks like a scab!

I wonder if it looks like ringworm? the rescue lady i got the piggies from treated them with invermectin.

it doesn't hurt him aparently and he's been acting just the same as buzz so no off behaviour, it's weigh in day for them tomorrow so i can see if there are any major changes I can take him to the vets come friday if necessary just wondered what you guys think.

and just because this is the first sight i've had of piggie lips i thought i'd share...

thanks for your advice/help in advance guys :)

thanks for taking the time to reply, i've booked him in to the vets for Thursday hopefully its nothing that cant easily be remedied.

is it a weepy type wound? I was wondering if it was a bite?
Either way a vet needs to diagnose it so best to see what they say.
A good thing is it looks seperate from the eye itself so at least it's not bothering his eye :)
