It is fine as long as you wash your bedding on a higher temperature (60 or 90 C) regularly, ideally at least once or twice every month or sooner if the bedding is very soiled. Additives for lower temperatures just don't get rid of bacteria the same as a good old hot wash...
I believe they will send you some washing instructions which may also be written on their site.
With fleece it's also a good idea to soak it in white vinegar for a little while before washing to help neutralize the smell, although the room where you soak them might smell like you are pickling the dead for a bit
I wash mine on a short wash at 40 degrees using non bio, then also put some dettol laundry cleanser in there too. no issues with smells and always comes out looking good
I wash mine on a quick wash, but use Halo washing liquid which kills bacteria etc. I also put white vinegar in for the final rinse. They come out clean and fresh smelling.
I do pretty much the same as @Roclibrarian
I use a very small amount of detergent and then add a splash of vinegar in the 'softener' drawer for the final rinse.
Once a month I tend to do them all on a longer, hotter wash, but a short wash does the job too.
I don't have the option for a quick was so I assume mine is a regular cycle, however I've always washed mine on a 40 wash and use halo. I didn't realise I should be doing a higher wash from time to time. Will a 60 wash definitely not shrink my liners? For some reason I thought fleece should only be done in a 40 wash or lower? x
