Pigsy came to us as a rescued GP and had always lived alone in a hutch. When we got him he was lonely, nervous and frightened of everything. I felt so sorry for him living such a lonely life I wanted to get him a "friend".
As it happened, one of our females was not getting on too well with her housemates at the time so we put her with Pigsy as a trial. The "trial" proved so successful, they have been inseperable ever since. The change in Pigsy has been amazing, he is confident and friendly, stands still to be picked up and has even popcorned a few times! Candy is definately the boss but Pigsy doesn't seem to mind and just follows her around like he worships the ground she walks on x)
Here are a few pics of the happy couple. Will try and get a piccie of them together at some point too. They were sharing a string of hay yesterday which looked like a scene from "lady and the tramp" but camera was not to hand! shame ...
