Shes gorgeous, love her colouring drool drool

Sparky and candy are sooo cute x)

Thankg guys:)

So whats the story behind it all then?

Well 3-4 weeks ago my friend asked me if I had space for her lone sow as her other guinea pig passed away8... I hadn't, Candy and Sparky in min space inside (brought in for outside hutch). Sadly last week Sparky passed away8....................

So I was thinking about my friends lone piggy, I asked on here how could I help Candy you all said get her a friend........So I stewed over it, felt bad for Sparky, but Candy went from wheeking to being quiet, she was never very outgoing but she started to sit under her hide, pop out then go back:(

So I contacted said friend, who feels awful about Sugar being alone, but her hubby def not letting her get another piggy (mines a pushover8)) so here we are lol!

Candy and Sugar have now been introduced. Sugar very grumbly, but Candy is like whatever:(|). I have spent the past 1/2 hour sat with them, and nothing to report so far! Sugar is currently in a dog crate (I have cats) for her home, how long until I should put them together in the hutch? Currently in Bathroom as much more space for them to meet each other?

Sugar is beautiful and so are Sparky and Candy.

Put them in the hutch when you have plenty of time to watch how they are getting on together in their new home. There is usually some more dominance behaviour. Also make sure that the jump in temperatures in not too big. It would be good if both sows have somewhere where they can be away from each other if they wish to.

Aggression between sows usually happens right at the beginning.

Wow what a cutie x)
Good luck with the bonding, fingers crossed it goes smoothly xx

Awwww such a sweetie x) Hope the bonding goes well x

still going strongdrool

Candy is now showing more responce when sugar comes close sniffing bumsrolleyes and Sugar is so loud lol! I have now set up them down stairs, to which they both went nuts over popcorning:))

Candy hasn't stopped running around and sugar is eating from the bowl wheeking as she does:)) No signs of anything to worry about so fingers crossed! I am going to keep them in separate hutchs overnight still but put their cages so together and can see each other.

Hubby just said it;s going to be cold outside (as in the noise Sugar is making:(|)) to which I responded don't worry I'll bring you out a cuppa! teehee

It's so nice to see candy move after the last few days!

So here we are and both girls now in hutch togetherx)

Candy seems to be the more dominate guinea, def rumblestruting when sugar make her jump but when out in run, sugar will follow candy's lead through the tunnels and hides:(|)

currently they are both sprawled out on the vetbed, legs so relaxed, I am so happy with the match! they both have a hide but in the morning they are always in the same one snuggled together:)

It's seems so strange as we only lost Sparky 2 weeks ago:0 but Candy has got her 'spark' back! I love putting them into the hutch after floor time as they both just start popcorning then destroy the lovely clean hutch:(|)

Will get photos soon!

Also today is a year since I got my guinea pigs!! wow-c
