I wanted to measure the space I plan to put my guinea pigs in to make sure I can fit a 2x4 C&C. Couldn't find tape measure. The cage is 149cm long. I also happen to be 149cm long. So I laid down on the floor instead. If I can fit, the cage can fit! I fit. I'm already doing weird things and I don't even have the pigs yet! I'm glad my boyfriend didn't walk in on me. Would have been difficult to explain why I was lying on the kitchen floor like a log at 1.30am..

I call that using your iniative and there is nothing wrong with lying in the floor in the early hours of the morning!

If you do go down the C&C route, you'll spend more time than you think, in the cage with the piggies so it's good to know you'll have plenty of space
