Can’t keep sick guinea pig 😢

I posted earlier about my guinea pig with a fungal infection. Since there are no available guinea pig doctors near me my parents are making me give them back to the pet store for adoption. I don’t know what to do but I don’t want to leave them after we developed such a close connection. Any tips?

@Sophiiiaac If you are a minor then unfortunately you have to do as your parents say.

You could ask them if they could take the pigs to a vet further away you could offer to pay them back for the vet by using it aa birthday/Xmas presents and/or doing chores for them.

How long ago did you get them from the pet shop? From all of @Wiebke 's posts I've seen, I believe the shop should cover the vet costs if they sold them to you with an illness.

We’ve had them for around 20 days, so idk if it’s covered. We got them at PetSmart
