To be fair it was a bit longer than 5 minutes.
My mum had a fall on the ice last night, so I really just threw some extra hay and some nuggets in the piggies cages and went running off to stay with her to keep an eye on her overnight.
Well, I just got back this morning and Bobby and Bailey had staged the great escape, having managed to pull out the fleece I had jammed into the gap they'd been getting through. They've trailed hay and pooped everywhere in the piggy room, and the terrible trio were screaming blue murder because they'd managed to scoff most of the hay and all of the nuggets I'd left for them and presumably could hear the other two partying. It's taken me about an hour to sort them all out, and hopefully re-sealed their escape hatch, after catching Bobby. Bailey squeezed back into the cage by himself as soon as I put the veggies in, but Bobby only seems to be able to get through in one direction! The piggy room is safe enough for them to be out, but it is still carpeted until after the new year, so I'm hoping they haven't done much peeing, as it's dark coloured and I can't tell where they may have peed.
Oh, my mum's fine by the way - just a sore bum and a bruised arm.
