Hi, I have followed advice and been giving my 2 baby boys (boars) a tablespoon of pellets each and lots of Hay and a cupful of vege a day. I gave them the pellets this morning and some of the vege (I keep some back to give them later on) and they have eaten it all already and when I go out they are squeaking like they want to be fed. I feel like they aren't having enough but is this normal?

Totally normal.
I have had pigs who will stand in front of a bowl full of food and wheek to see if they can guilt us in to offering something else!
If they have unlimited fresh hay and are really hungry they will eat it.

They are like kids who are often starving for a chocolate biscuit, but not so starving when you offer them a celery stick :D

Yes, totally normal 😁 as long as they have loads of good quality hay at hand then don’t fall into the trap of giving extra pellets or veggies. All they really need is lots of hay to keep their teeth and tummy in good health throughout the day

They really are pigs. I regularly get conned into giving extra food because they're absolutely starving neglected piggies. 😂(they're both wee fatsos 🤣)

What I have found helpful is measuring out their daily nuggets into a separate container, then I am free to feed them as I please during the day.
So when I walk into a room of begging piggies, I can give a nugget or two and they think they have won the lottery ;)

If they squeak for food, check the hay pile. If there's plenty, let them squeak. If it's a bit low, top it up.

I of course have never been guilty of giving pigs pea flakes or blueberries just because they were wheeking adorably. I am the perfect disciplined owner.

and I have not just got up in the middle of the night because Rosa "needed" a cherry tomatoe and woke me with her hungered shrieks...ahem
