can guinea pigs have cantaloupe?
cantalupe is a type of melon i guess they dont sellin the ukI know different countries have different names for some fruit and veg, so I'm assuming you mean the melon, in which case - Yes, but only a little and no more than once a week. Like all fruit it's too high in sugar to be a regular part of their diet. Mine love melon in all its varieties...especially watermelon.
We do have cantaloupe melon I was just wary that it might be something different where you are.cantalupe is a type of melon i guess they dont sellin the uk
Bet they will think it's guinea pig crack too and become melon junkies very quickly!Never tried mine with melon - any variety.
I usually eat it before they get a look in.
Might let them try the skin next time I buy a melon
