For months now i've noticed that the piggies poo has been smelling kinda sour (that's the only word I could think of to describe it) but they seem well within them selves so I just figured it was something they were eating. The other day I was at the supermarket getting some capsicums and they had green ones on special and I smelt this smell that reminded me exactly of the piggies poo so I conclude that capsicum makes piggy poo smell sour lol. I thought I would just share this interesting little tid bit of self discovered information with everyone.

I don't know... I am collecting my piggies poo (because a friend of mine wants to use them as a fertiliser for his plants), I am not smelling different or bad odours but I give them a piece of capsicum (red or yellow usually) every evening, their dinner is almost the same, therefore I cannot see any differences. Surely you are right, though, as you can smell a different odour when your piggies don't eat the pepper...
I find out only difference in Calliope's neck/throat hair! when she eats red pepper her fur becomes orange; when I give her yellow/green pepper this does not happen!

Pfft, Comet ends up with a green, orange or red mouth depending on which bits of pepper he's snaffled. Every time.

Coco slops her red capsicum down her front if it's a particularly big piece and gets the orange fur too lol. I thought it might have been due to her teeth but apparently her teeth are really good so she's just a a sloppy eater.
