Caring for Hairies

All being well I am getting a long haired piggy soon and I would love some advice on caring for his fur. I have got a decent hair brush but, its a long time since I have a hairy pig and back then I was fairly inexperienced in guinea pig care.

I have one longhaired, a coronet and I am afraid I wimp out and keep it trimmed off the ground ;D
They will need brushing every day if possible (I prefer to use a comb on Timmy) and I would definately recommend you trim the hair round the bum else it gets poopy and matted. They will need bathing more often, about every 6 weeks. I use GG posh n go to keep Timmy smelling sexy ;D
