Carmilla has left us. She came through the op yesterday to remove a trapped bladder stone but had lost a lot of blood and was very weak when she went into surgery. Unfortunately she decided not to stay with us and during the day today she has gradually slid away from us. The vet has tried everything, to no avail. I do trust that vet, she is good and knows about piggies. My big white girl has decided enough is enough. So be it.

I will miss her all the more because I was not prepared for her death. The first signs of any trouble was Sunday afternoon - this has been too fast. She will stay in my avatar for some time yet I think

So sorry to hear about the death of your beautiful little girl. It is so hard when you are completely unprepared for their death. I lost my dog last year after a sudden illness and the shock is one that takes time to get over. Allow yourself to grieve for her though.

She will be over the Rainbow Bridge now and jumping for joy in the fields with all the other guineas who have gone before her. Maybe she'll meet some of my boys!

Hold onto the memories and those beautiful pictures. I want to munch her up because she is divine!

*huge hugs*
