Carrot passed away this morning

My gorgeous little boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning. He had been very ill for a while with kidney problems and was diagnosed with kidney disease.

I was syringe feeding him every few hours since monday and despite an initial weight gain his body started to shut down and he was in a lot of pain.

Picked him up this morning and it was obvious he didn't have long left. I sat cuddling him in his little fleece cosy until he passed away.

He was such a gorgeous little thing, cheeky and nosy and just a great character.

Goodbye little one we all loved you so much and will miss you. At least you aren't suffering anymore.
