What's better for guinea pigs, carrot or parsnip? My boys like both! Also, are corn husks/corn cob leaves healthy? These are their favourite and I'm wondering how often to feed them.
Thanks! xx

Mine adore corn cobs and the silks and papers of corn. They don't get them very often only as a treat. No sure about carrot v parsnip. I know you shouldn't feed carrot very often because of its high sugar content don't know about the sugar content of parsnip. Mine love both carrot and parsnip too.

Mine love love love corn silks and husks, but only get them when I see ‘whole’ corn cobs in Tesco! Obviously they love carrot, but aren’t so keen on parsnips

Not to sure about the sugar content of parsnip but I wouldn't feed too much carrot due to the sugar content, parsnip is only eaten depending on what mood the piggies are in.. My two love baby sweet corn and the silks mostly from whole corn but will eat the leaves to. But I only feed corn as an occasional treat.
