While I was searching the web for what I should feed my guinea pigs I saw a video with a tip. It said: When your finished using your carrots put the end in water and put it in sunlight and leave it there for a few days. The plant part grows. Should I feed the actual plant and the part that grows on the end?:hmm::hmm::hmm:

Place the sliced off tops on a shallow tray of water and the leaves should regrow. Some piggies are real fans of carrot leaf.

You can feed the whole carrot plant.
The carrot itself is quite high in sugar so should only be given once or at most twice a week.
The leaves apparently are fairly high in calcium so also only once or twice a week.

Wow, I never knew this, our first piggies were partial to carrot leaves occasionally as a treat
