Carrots

Hi, I was just wondering how many carrots and how often I can give them to two boars?

I only give mine carrots occasionally - once or twice a month and then it’s about a thick slice per piggy

Would this be ok between them? It’s quite small (normal sized carrot for comparison)

I give a ring of carrot twice a week. Its said to be high in sugar and vit a. I think i read that too much vit a can be bad for one of the organs.i think kidneys but i cant remember properly. No matter what you do theres always something bad about it though

That is fine isnt it? Pets at home are terrible, they put loads of whole carrots in and loads of cabbage. Because shop workers dont have time to feed what they should have. My boar from pets at home adoption only experienced eating cabbage, i asked why, and the girl said because all that gets delivered now is cabbage and carrot, nothing else.

She was nice though, she asked me to let her know how hes getting on and show her pictures of him getting to adulthood

Mine get carrot peelings every night. Between the 5 of them they don't get much carrot each as there is not a lot of carrot on a peeling. My Rainbow piggies Lenny and Gizmo got carrot peelings every night and they lived to 5 and 5.5.

my most recent rainbow bridge pig calked sky lived to 7 and had kale,spinach,carrot almost everyday for about 3 years and had no problems from it. When i knew better i balanced his diet better.

My Finn and Lara get a small baby carrot each almost everyday.
If a baby carrot is big, I cut it in half and give them half each. I don't peel baby carrots so I hope that is ok.
