Is it okay if I feed my piggy a piece of carrot about the length of your thumb once a day or once every two days?
 
thats absolutly fine, piggies love carrots, i have read on here that you are not suppose to feed carrots every day but mine usually get daily carrots xx
 
I only give half a baby carrot per day as I have heard that the sugar content is high :^-
 
i personally give mine a carrott a day to share between the 2 of them, and hgave never noticed any problems x
 
I've read a couple of places that giving them carrot more then a couple of times a week can cause liver/kidney (I can never remember which!) problems =/
I only give mine carrot 2 or 3 times a week :)
 
Mine love carrots, and they tend to get a small handful daily.
I've also heard that daily carrots are bad for them, but Peter Gurney piggie Guru, gave his pigs carrots daily.
 
my lot have carrots daily...
they have carrots that are on the small side but they have the bushy greens still attached and i give one carrot per pig... :))

i give my pigs carrots everyday after all a carrot a day keeps the vet at bay:)p
 
They get two slices each per night, along with half a cherry tomato, one slice of cucumber, a floret of broccoli and a small handful of spinach:)
 
hello i dont give my carrots everyday i feed my guineas all different things they are better feed than us today they have had some lettuce one of them growing garden ones a bit some runner beans basil coriander and baby sweetcorn, the things i tend to give them more often is broc and peppers i try to give them this more often than anything else but some weeks i get in carrots so they have them a few days then the week after its spinach so each week i swap they seem to enjoy it they dont like grapes or raspberrys but they love canalope melon and they eat a bit of apple but they arent fused and they will only at small oranges pieces like satsuma they dont entertain normal big orange pieces lolxx>>>
 
My piggies have carrots around 2-3 times per week as I vary their veggies daily. If they have the same stuff, like us, they'd get fed up :))
